Essay

The thesis is dedicated to improving of the fuel efficiency of ship low-speed diesel by deep cooling of scavenge air with heat recovery unit that utilizes scavenge air warmth. The first time the principle of scavenge air cooling ship low-speed diesel with his own heat cycle in reverse transformation of heat into the cold. A mathematical model of the processes of scavenge air cooling in a two-step low-speed diesel three contour WCS with waste heat scavenge air in WHC for IWS. Established that scavenge air cooling marine low-speed diesel in WCS, which utilizes the heat from the scavenge air heat transformation ratio above 0.4, provides lower temperature to 15 ... 25 ?C and a reduction in specific fuel consumption by 1.5 ... 2.5 g / (kW ? h) compared with its seawater cooling. The rational process parameters that ensure minimum energy loss in the transformation of heat which reduces scavenge air temperature up to 15 ... 25 ? C and reduce the specific fuel consumption of 1.5 ... 2.5 g / (kW ? h) compared with its seawater cooling.
