The essence of strategic potential. Principles of formation of the strategic potential of enterprises in the knowledge economy. The peculiarities of the wood processing industry strategic potential in Chernivtsi region are studied and estimated. The thesis work the concept of optimizing the organizational and economic mechanism of the strategic potential formation of wood processing enterprises is grounded.
