Kochueva Z. Methods and Models of Intellectual Processing of Information Objects in the Modern Library Systems

Object of research: information objects and processes in automated information library systems. Goal of research: increasing the efficiency of modern libraries using intelligent methods and models of information processing. Methods of research: theory of intelligence, algebra of finite predicates, method of comparator identification, methods of artificial intelligence. Theoretical and practical results: the thesis develops the technology of intellectual processing of information objects, a complex model and technology of formalization of systematization and subject indexing, abstracting and annotating of full text documents. Scientific novelty is in the development of the comparator identification method used for information objects of automated libraries, in the development of models of processes of grouping, subject indexing, and rubricating of full text documents by means of development of information technology of processing of full text documents which allows increasing accuracy, speed and relevance of document search. The Implementation: the results of the research have been implemented in the scientific library of Kharkiv National Medical University (Kharkiv), scientific library of Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics (Kharkiv), and scientific-technical library of Kharkiv National Technical University "Kharkiv Polytechnical Institute"(Kharkiv) when developing electronic library resources. Application field: automated information library systems, information search systems.
