The object of research is the process of regulation of reproduction of human capital in agriculture. The purpose of work is development of theoretical and practical bases of regulation of reproduction of human capital and submission of proposals on improvement of socio-economic and institutional mechanism of its use as a priority factor of increasing the efficiency of the economy. Methods of research - historical-economic, structural and functional, statistical, graphical, correlation and regression, abstract, monographic method. Novelty - the first time developed a mechanism to increase employment and improve the use of human capital; improved: organizational approaches to the formation and effective use of human capital agrarian enterprises; scientific and applied basis of investment in human capital of the agrarian sector of the region; received further development: theoretical essence of human capital in the agricultural sector of the region; a methodical approach to more effective regulation of reproduction of human capital. The results of the research used Apostolska district state administration of Dnipropetrovsk oblast with the purpose of definition and evaluation of reproduction and use of human capital of the agrarian sector of the region.
