The object of the research is the management of the regional food security in the Vinnitsa region. The aim of the dissertation is to increase the effectiveness of the mechanism public administration of the regional food security of the population in conditions of the crisis economies. Methods: analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction, the formalization description and observation, comparison, graphic, economic and mathematical analysis and simulation. Scientific novelty: first: formed and the essence of the scientific concept of "regional food security"; improved: a methodical approach to evaluating the effectiveness of management of regional food security; mechanism to implement national regional policy on food security, which involves the use of support systems and decision-making; were further developed: classification of conceptual approaches to the nature of regional food security; instrument definition criterion values the level of regional food security through the use of fuzzy information.
