Dissertation's aim: improvement of theoretical and methodological foundations and development of practical guidelines of economic security system of higher educational institutions of private property form. Object of study: process of providing economic security in higher educational institutions of private property form as providers of educational services and economic activities. Subject of study: theoretical, methodological and practical foundations for the organization of economic security systems of higher educational institutions of private property form. Methods of study: systematic analysis, methods of analysis and synthesis, specific scientific methods, including informal heuristic methods, namely: method of expert assessment, description method, survey method, comparative analysis method, quantitative methods, including economic analysis, modeling method. Improved: methodological approach to assessment of the state of economic security system of a higher educational institution of private property form; methodological approaches to the modeling of organization of economic security system of private educational institutions, according to which higher educational institutions implement adaptive control systems (matrix form). The further development was received by: the definition of "economic security of higher educational institutions of private property form" and "the economic security system of higher educational institution of private property form"; the strategic planning system of economic security of higher education institutions of private property form, according to which, on the one hand, a cross-cutting approach to processing chain "concept-strategy-planning" is involved, and on the other hand, while forming the business process, such typical role of employees, as "resource owner", "process owner", "process operator" that allows to organize components of the tool are being distinguished.
