Polchaninova I. Managing the development of a regional hotel complex

Object of research: development management of a hotel complex in the region. Objective: to study theoretical positions, methodological bases and practical recommendations regarding the management of regional development of the hotel complex. Methods: monographic and statistical; spatial, economic, sociological and statistical analysis; systematic and structural analysis; comparison; mapping; modeling; correlation and regression. Conceptual and terminological apparatus that characterizes the process of regional development of the hotel complex, in particular the nature concretized concepts of "hospitality", "Hospitality", "hotel industry", "optimization process" of generalizations and refinements which logically worded definition of "regional hotel complex "as geographically concentrated economic object was defined. Organizational approach to the formation of hotel complexes at the regional level, which, unlike the existing cluster based on the introduction of regional forms of interaction integral totality of hotel establishments was implemented. The methodical approach to managing regional hotel complex and its separate subdivisions based on the balanced scorecard was developed. Results of the thesis are used in the work of public authorities, managers, owners and managers of the enterprises of the hotel complex as well as in the educational process of O. M. Beketov National University of Urban Economy in Kharkiv.
