Object of research: the development of livestock industries in economic formations Ivano-Frankivsk region. Objective: To work out the theoretical and applied the provisions aimed at the efficient functioning of livestock industries in the business units, the implementation of the economic analysis of the status and development of proposals to further their development. Methods: monographic, balance sheet, questionnaire, abstract logic, Economics and Statistics, Economics and Mathematics, History. Scientific novelty: the first time the model of private peasant farms and livestock farms based on the available agricultural land area and number of livestock; Methodical approaches to the study forecast of livestock and fodder in the Ivano-Frankivsk region, areas of agriculture and meat and dairy cooperatives, methodical approaches to determining the economic efficiency of livestock production on household plots; were further developed study areas integrating production and processing, applied aspects of the transformation of private farms as primary form of business structure in family farm commodity direction, suggestions to improve the economic efficiency of pig production, dairy and beef cattle in different business units.
