Gromoviy A. Verification of statements and reports of criminal offenses.

This research focuses on solving scientific problems and determine the activities to verify the statements, reports of criminal offenses committed as a separate, independent stage of the criminal process, examines its contents and objectives. Conducted thorough analysis of the object and extent of proof on the stage of the statements and reports of criminal offenses, as well as content control and supervisory activities to ensure their rights and mechanisms for their implementation. The study found the essence of the business to consider allegations and reports of criminal offenses, which aims to address the question of the beginning of the pre-trial investigation and includes the following essential elements: receiving the application, notice of a criminal offense, its registration, inspection and acceptance by it appropriate decision. Reveals characteristic of criminal procedural rules made by the preliminary investigation when receiving and registering statements and reports of criminal offenses, whereby formulated scientifically based proposals for improving the current criminal procedural legislation of Ukraine and its application to the investigated problems.
