Theoretical generalizations are summarized and methodological approaches to solving an urgent scientific problem of the development and efficiency of entrepreneurship activity in biofuel production are substantiated in the thesis. The definition of nature and functional features of entrepreneurship activity using the principle of system analysis of the theoretical concepts of entrepreneurship is specified. Methodical regulations for the assessment of the effectiveness and competitiveness of entrepreneurship activity in biofuel production with the segmentation of productive effects are improved. Nature and role characteristics of the market as an institutional system of entrepreneurship activity development are investigated. The development and efficiency of entrepreneurship activity in the agrarian sector as an environment forming biofuel production capacity are assessed. Conceptual regulationsand strategic approaches of entrepreneurship activity intensification and biofuel market development based on the systemcomprehension of complex measures, including institutional content, that can provide formation of the stimulating institutional environment of the efficiency and competitiveness of enterprises producing biofuel as an innovative market structures are developed.
