Essay

The thesis is dedicated to studying of the Tate bilinear pairing and of the Weil pairing, and their properties. The Tate pairing may be defined over pseudofinite fields. Recall that a field K is called pseudofinite if is perfect, K has the unique extension of degree n for each natural number n and every nonempty absolutely irreducible variety over K , has a K -rational point.
