Within the effective mass approximation for electronic and dielectric conti-nuum model – for the phonon system, using method of the Green's function theory there were studied nonlinear absorption process in excitonic region of spectra that are responsible for the attainment of optical bistability in bulk molecular crystals, inorganic semiconductors and flat quasi-2D nanoheterostructures – nanofilms.
