Essay

The thesis is devoted to improving the quality of explosive rock mass preparation for cubiform breakstone manufacturing based on structure of space-time stress field control with opposite directional initiation by applying the combined charge of two or more types of explosives that have different detonation characteristics. The paper presents an effective method of rocks' reflection which provides them with explosive preparing and meets crushing and screening requirements for high quality cube breakstone manufacturing. A method of blasting which creates in a massive space-time structure with tensile and shear dominated component of the stress field and provides not only high-quality grinding on stage of massive explosion but decrease by up to 25 % of the blasted rock's mass strength was developed, allowing better performance of mechanical equipment and breakstone cubiform. The method of oppositely-directed initiation in combination with the use of combined elongated charges which is realized by the modern non-electric means of initiation application e.g. "Nonel" with deceleration time range from 1 ms to 1 s combined with new environmentally friendly emulsion explosives such as "Ukrayinit" and "Anemiks" with power indicators fully consistent of disruptive rocks properties.
