The Thesis is devoted to the complex research of genetic and typological contact relations between V. Stefanyk and representatives of the "Young Poland" movements, and comparative analysis of polystylistic constants in their creative works, expressed in terms of common neo-romantic and impressionistic codes (e.g. symbols of colour, dialogic existential concepts), the features of symbolism and perceptual unity (e.g. common key symbols, apocalyptic and eschatological motives), expressionistic dominants (the concept of "naked soul" and its explication in terms of death, anxiety, fear, hopelessness, nervousness). The particular qualities of V. Stefanyk's formation of writer's attitude during his staying in Krakow is analyzed, herewith the influence of representatives of Polish Modernism on his writer's style is focused
