The thesis is dedicated to the administrative proceedings in cases of violation of traffic rules. In this paper forming process of an administrative proceeding in cases of violation of traffic rules is overlooked. The concept and content of administrative proceedings in this area is established, the authorised proceeding has been proposed. The analysis of legislative and other normative legal acts and regulations that govern the administrative proceedings in this sphere of social relations has been done. The system of subjects are involved in bringing this production. Their powers are emphasized; the need to improve their legal status is also highlighted. The list of basic legal evidence and procedural characteristics of the process of administrative proceedings in cases of violation of traffic rules has been inspected. The international experience in this field was analyzed. The author's vision formulated ways to further improve specific legislation, designed corresponding list of changes and additions to the existing regulatory framework.
