There is the actual task of railway transport solved in the dissertation. This task is connected with providing stable breaking characteristics of rolling stock. The solution of the given task is performed on the base of the suggested method of creating new friction properties of disk brake which stipulates the use of several friction materials in the force interaction of working elements, the properties of materials are different.
