This thesis studies financial risks of customs system functioning and represents practical recommendations for their prevention and minimization in Ukraine. The analysis of risks at customs field of Ukraine is examined. Financial risks of customs system functioning in Ukraine are studied. Customs security threats of Ukraine caused with financial risks are found. There were done forecasting of financial risks losses at customs system functioning. The minimization prospects of financial risks in the context of integration of Ukraine into the European Union. The role of customs control on prevention and minimization of consequences and threats of financial risks at customs system functioning are determined. The customs effectiveness of post-audit as modern and efficient forms of customs control is grounded.
