The dissertation is devoted to comprehensive study of the legal foundation for acquiring municipal land parcels in tenancy in Ukraine. The study describes the acquisition of municipal land parcels in tenancy in Ukraine as a legal phenomena, the particularities of legal regulation of different procedures for acquiring municipal land parcels in tenancy in Ukraine on a competitive basis (through action) or without it, the powers of state and municipal authorities within the procedure as well as interaction between them in the course of transferring municipal land parcels in tenancy.
