Ilieva T. Function of judicial control in criminal procedure

The thesis performs a comprehensive study on the subject of implementation of the function of judicial control in criminal procedure based on the analysis of sources of national and foreign scholars, legislation and its practical application. A research has been carried out on formation and development of legislation and science in terms of implementation of the function of judicial control in criminal procedure and attention has been drawn to the concept and essence of the function of judicial control in criminal procedure as well as frameworks for its implementation. A decision-making procedure has been defined regarding the use of preventive measures, removal from office, temporary access to things and documents, the use of other measures ensuring criminal proceedings as well as main problems have been studied which arise when an investigating judge is making corresponding decisions.
