Essay

The thesis is dedicated to researching on the base of corpus methodology the idiostyle of an Ottoman XVIII c. chronicle "History of Naima". In result of research, it was proved that quite a number of text's morphemes, syntactical constructions and keywords make it close to modern Turkish language. The chronicle owns idiostyle peculiarities on different structural levels of language, yet their quantitative parameters do not differ from the data of language norm model quite enough to concern the text obviously objects strict genre canons of an Ottoman prose.
