Dissertation is devoted to the steel oil and gas equipment qualitative changes evaluation, taking into account the state of the microstructure by the set of physical characteristics. The features of metal materials microstructure changes during operation was investigated and the basic physical parameters that change as a result of microstructure changes was set in this work. The qualitative changes of the material physical parameters which depend on the microstructure changes was investigated. The optimum set of physical parameters that best correlated with the selected microstructure parameters was defined, and the approximation functions of the microstructure parameters depend on these physical parameters in their complex application were derived. A method for metallic materials qualitative changes estimating by the set of measured physical characteristics for the material's degradation degree estimation was developed.
