Petrenko O. Providing security of traffic and public security by the units of State Traffic Police of the Ministry of Interior of Ukraine

Thesis are devoted to the study of the complex of theoretical and practical problems concerning the activity of State traffic police in the sphere of providing traffic security and the public security. The influence of providing traffic security on the state of public security in the whole is outlined and the participation of the traffic police officers in the provision of public security is analyzed. The main trends of the activity of State traffic police and the problems arising during the provision of traffic security are researched. It is determined that the officers of State traffic police have very broad volume of powers besides provision of the traffic security, public security and guarding public order.
