Essay

The dissertation is the first complex study, which is devoted to the fauna and ecology of spiders in the Middle Dnipro region, Ukraine. 577 species from 219 genera and 35 families were found. For the first time in the region marked 49 studies, forest-steppe zone - 59 for Ukraine - 8 species. Spider fauna of the region includes 15 of zoogeographical groups that are organized in two complexes: wide distributed and european species. The features of biotopical distribution, seasonal changes in the qualitative and quantitative composition of herpetobiont spiders have been analyzed. Six phenological groups of spiders is allocated.
