Essay

Analysis of habitat preferences, oological and nidological parameters of waders in the North West Ukraine was performed. A list of wader species and their abundance during a migration in the region were revealed. Passage dynamics, morphometric parameters, and stopover ecology of waders were described. Threats to waders are detected and measures of their removal are proposed.
