Tsurkan N. Economic and Energy Basis of Innovative Development of Perennial Grasses of the Production

The thesis provides a comprehensive study of the development of the production of perennial grasses. The significance of cultivation of the studied crops and their role in improving soil fertility and efficiency of livestock are stated. Organizational and technological factors affecting the production efficiency of such products are defined. The necessity of expanding the range of products from herbs at the expense of ecologically pure nitrogen that accumulates in the soil during their use is grounded. In the conditions of violations of environmental safety it is to include cash equivalents of increase of soil fertility and nitrogen accumulation in the soil when growing perennial grasses to the proposed economic indicators. Introduced proposals are supported by the calculations for the agricultural sector in Southern Ukraine. Considerable attention is given to innovative ways of development of technologies for production of perennial grasses, including energy efficient ways. The suggestions for the improvement of market production of perennial grasses, possible reserves of extensive development and use of innovative solutions with the intensification of the production of these crops are offered.
