Essay

Research object: processes of phase and structural changes during synthesis of compositions with a complex of electrophysical properties that belong to prospective area of the BaO - SrO - TiO2 system. Research purpose: advancement of manufacturing technology of segnetoceramic materials on the base of compounds of the BaO - SrO - TiO2 system having preset phase composition and structure, and improved complex of performance characteristic. Research methods and equipment: thermodynamic, X-ray diffraction, electron-microscopic, complex of physico-chemical methods and statistical methods of computerized experimental design. Technical properties of developed materials have been determined in accordance with standard techniques. Theoretical and practical results: effective segnetoceramic materials with the complex of preset performance characteristics on the base of solid solutions of the BaO - SrO - TiO2 system have been developed on the base of developed scientific concepts and obtained experimental data; technological instruction of the typical technological manufacturing process of segnetoceramic material has been developed. Novelty: physico-chemical and kinetic principles of formation of preset phase compositions during synthesis of the material on the base of solid solutions of the BaO - SrO - TiO2 system which are responsible for both the formation of necessary microstructure of perovskite and the properties which meet the requirements of selected application areas, have been established. Degree of implementation: results of the work have been implemented in the academic process of NTU "KhPI". Sphere of use: results of the work may be used for solving new problems and prospective advancement directions of electrical energy industry and radio electronics on enterprises that manufacture items with electrical and electromagnetic properties. Scientific results may also be used in higher education institutions for training specialists in the field of technology of refractory nonmetallic and silicate materials.
