In the dissertation a comprehensive study of theoretical, methodological and practical aspects of information potential of the food industry were conducted. Also, the theoretical and methodological principles of information management capacity of enterprises were investigated, generalized approaches to the definition of the information potential of the company, in depth theoretical foundations of information potential based on entropic approach to organizational and economic prerequisites for the formation of an effective information system of companies was determined. Methodological approaches to the diagnosis of the formation and use of information potential of enterprises on soft carbonated drinks market, the analysis of modern management technologies formation and use of information potential business market of soft carbonated drinks in Ukraine were substantiated and described. Methodological approaches to the economic evaluation of the use of information potential of the studied companies were analyzed. There were the methodical approach to evaluating the effectiveness of comprehensive information capacity of enterprises, the necessity of consolidated information department with the release of its structure and functions and the model of an integrated information system soft carbonated drinks market approved.
