Essay

The theoretical basis for enhancement of corrosion resistance of concrete protective coatings based on polymethylphenylsiloxane filled with aluminum and zinc oxides was created. The technological properties of the compositions for protective coatings, methods applied to the concrete surface and the conditions of formation were established. High insulating and waterproof ability of protective coatings depends on the content of sodium polymethylphenylsiloxane and hexafluorosilicate. Optimization of the composition of the protective coating was done and the effect of additives Na2SiF6 and kaolin fiber indicators of water absorption, chemical and biological corrosion of treated concrete was shown. The increasing of corrosion resistance to the action of the treated concrete ions Mg2 + and SO42-, respectively, 20-35 and 18-21% was experimentally confirmed. The influence of the coating composition on adhesive strength, integrity and durability of the protective coating was shown.
