Bodnar P. The efficiency of the gene pool of Holsteins in terms Carpathians

Object of research: the formation of economically useful characteristics in animals of different genotypes of Ukrainian Black-Spotted dairy breed for the use of Holstein. Purpose of research: to investigare the dynamics of cows living mass during their growing, exterior-constitutional features, milk productivity, reproductive and adaptive ability, the duration of the economical using, reasons for retirement and the cost-effectiveness of animals breeding of different genotypes of Ukrainian Black-Spotted dairy breed got in result of absorbent mating in terms in the condition of one economy of Carpathians. Research methods: zootechnical, biochemical, chemical, biometric. Scientific novelty: for the first time in terms of Carpathians in the process of using the absorbent mating of breeding stock of Black-Spotted cattle with Holstein bulls it was performed complex out comparative search of cows of different genotypes, lines and daughters of different parents by indices of living mass during their growth, exterior-constitutional characteristics, milk productivity, reproductive and adaptive ability, the chemical composition of milk, morphological and biochemical indices of blood, phenotypic consolidation by the main selective features, duration of economical using and economic efficiency of breeding. It was studied the compliance of certain selective characteristics in animals parameters of the desired type. Degree of implementation: research results were implemented in farms of different ownership of Lviv region by Lviv scientific-production center "Zahidplemresursy."
