Essay

Object of research - binuclear complexes of dirhenium(III) with 3-derivatives of 1-adamantanecarboxylic acid. The purpose of work is synthesis, setting the structure and properties of complexes of rhenium (III) of different structural types with some 3-derivatives of 1-adamantanecarboxylic acid as potential biologically active substances. Methods: elemental analysis, IR, PMR- and electronic spectroscopy, conductivity, thermogravimetry. Scientific novelty: For the first time, 29 new complexes of dirhenium(III) in the individual form were synthesized. Composition and structure of the received complex were estimated by the methods of elemental analysis, IR-, PMR-, electronic spectroscopy and conductivity measurement. For the first time the trichlorotri-µ-carboxylates with mixed alkyl and adamantyl ligand environment were obtained in the individual state (confirmed by spectral studies, elemental analysis, IR-spectroscopy). For the cis-tetrahlorodi-µ-carboxylates of dirhenium(III) with 3-derivatives of 1-adamantanecarboxylic acid were determined the stability in water. The interaction of the derivatives of Re(III) with biological macromolecules were showed for the example of albumin, the interaction with the representatives of the three classes of free radicals was defined the scheme of the antiradical action of the compounds synthesized. The biological activity of the cis-tetrahlorodi-µ-carboxylates of dirhenium(III) with 3-derivatives of 1-adamantanecarboxylic acid was investigated and were obtained that the obtained complex compounds contribute to antioxidant protection of the kidneys. The practical significance of the results: the methods of synthesis can be used for the targeted production of complex compounds of structural types with other skeletal systems or mixed alkyl-adamantyl ligands. Scope of use: the synthesized complexes of rhenium(III) can be used in biomedical and pharmaceutical industry.
