The thesis is devoted to theoretical, methodical and practical issues of investigation of acquisitive crimes committed using transport vehicles. The author considers theoretical basis of using transport vehicles in acquisitive crimes and logically pass on investigation organisation and planning issues.The thesis includes criminalistic characteristics of the above mentioned crimes, author's concept of transport vehicles and classification of acquisitive offenders using transport vehicles.It was defined the order of offering investigative leads and outlined typical investigational situations arising in that category of crimes.The author provides for tactics of investigation (search) actions in close interaction of investigators and operational units officials, as well as forms of using special knowledge for prompt and effective investigation.There were developed methodical recommendations for investigation of acquisitive crimes committed using transport vehicles.
