Dorosh O. Pro-/antioxidant imbalance at different stages of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease in type 2 diabetes mellitus patients and its medical correction.

The object of study: pro-/antioxidant status in patients with type 2 diabetes with NAFLD. The purpose of research the definition of pro-/antioxidant status in various stages of NAFLD on the base of assessment of indicators of lipid peroxidation and 8-izoprostaglandin, ceruloplasmin and of reduced glutathione levels. Treatment optimization in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus combined with NAFLD. Research methods: anthropometric, clinical, biochemical, instrumental, statistical. Ultrasound analyse was performed using medical ultrasound diagnostic scanner ALOKA-SSD-3500, the definition of pro-/antioxidant status - with biochemical analyzer Stat Fax 2100. The new solution of particular modern Clinical Endocrinology science problem was given in this issue. It is the increasing of the representativeness of noninvasive diagnosis of NAFLD phasic flow and optimization therapy of comorbidity. The efficiency of combined therapy with antioxidants and hepatoprotectors on the stage of steatohepatitis and fibrosis was determined. The results of research have been implemented in the practical work of endocrinologists, general practitioners in medical institutions of Kharkov, Lvov, Kiev, Dnepropetrovsk, Sumy, Nikolaev.
