Тhe thesis summarizes the theoretical and methodical basis for the formation and development of state regulation of agricultural enterprise. It was performed the analysis of business activities in the agricultural sphere of the economy and the state's influence on the formation of its results. It was considered the process of the formation and functioning of business structures in historical perspective. It was shown the possibility of using the achievements of past generations and the possibility in the present conditions of agricultural entrepreneurship. The directions of increasing the effectiveness of state regulation of agricultural enterprises were grounded. It was focused attention on the role of cooperatives in agricultural production and influence of the clergy in its development. It was grounded the necessity of cooperation of the state and self-governing organizations that are functioning in the system of agrarian production, the development of organic agriculture economy. The necessity of complex approaches due to the measures formation on state regulation of business activity in agriculture.
