Objekt: the creative works of Leopold Senghor. Aim: the interpretation of artistic features of the francophone Senegalese writing of the second half of the 20th century. Methods: receptive-hermeneutical, biographical, cultural-historical, comparative-historical. Scientific novelty: for the first time in the Ukrainian literary studies verset is analysed as the hybrid poetic and prose form, representative for French classical and African traditions. Approved in 10 publications. The sphere of use: literature and high sckool practice.
