Pozharova O. Maternity protection under the labor legislation of Ukraine.

The dissertation is one of the first special complex investigations of the institute of maternity protection under the labour legislation of Ukraine in the domestic science. The definition of «maternity protection” under the labour legislation of Ukraine is described in the thesis; international and European standards of maternity protection and degree of their implementation in national labour legislation are researched; formation, current state and prospects of development of the institute of maternity protection under the labour laws of Ukraine are being characterized. The place of norms on maternity protection in the system of Ukrainian labour law is defined. Classification is carried out and legal means of maternity protection, stipulated by the labour legislation of Ukraine, are being characterized. Specific proposals on improvement of existing legislation and draft Labour Code of Ukraine in the field of maternity protection are being formulated.
