Essay

Object - the process of diamond smoothing parts such as bodies of rotation. Objective - improving the efficiency of diamond smoothing by reducing thermal stress due to the control action on the energy-power characteristics of the process. Methods - Methods of Engineering Mechanics , Finite Element Method . Results - proposed structure of complex theoretical and experimental studies of power parameters of the process in order to increase the efficiency of diamond smoothing. Novelty - refined mathematical model of diamond smoothing parts such as bodies of rotation, which has allowed to establish the analytical dependence for the determination of the velocity fields of the flow of the metal particles, strain and strain rate; first established a functional connection between the energy-power characteristics of the deformation process and the parameters of the treatment regime in diamond smoothing with the strain hardening; improved method for predicting patterns of formation temperature in the treatment zone, depending on the conditions of use of diamond smoothing. The degree of implementation - the work implemented at JSC "Motor Sich" and the State Enterprise "Kharkov machine-building factory" FED ". Areas of use - machine-building enterprises , educational process.
