Object of study: the processes of friction and magnetic interactions in pairs of nodes of the combined brake. Objective - evaluation of the loading and the effectiveness of the auxiliary induction brake in the system of band brake of lifting and transport machines. Methods: mathematical physics, calculation of the parameters of induction brakes. Theoretical of and practical results: the new design of auxiliary induction brake of boring winch with has been developed.
