The dissertation is devoted to research the procedural status of a minor victim during preliminary investigation. The author considered definition the "minor victim". The dissertation contents analysis of criminal procedural guarantees to ensure the rights and interests of a minor victim, the grounds and procedure for their use; generalization of international legal standards in the field of protection of juvenile victims' rights during pretrial investigation. The author researches procedure of some investigation actions that involve a minor victim and considers procedural provisions for participation of teachers, psychologists, doctors during the investigative actions, as well as the specific features and procedural decisions and documentation in criminal proceedings involving a minor victim. The dissertation contents theoretical statements and recommendations that correspond to requirements of scientific novelty and are important for science and law enforcement activity.
