Object: a process of state regulation of competition in the telecommunications market. Goal: substantion, methodological support and development of state regulation of competition in the telecommunications market, forming application toolkit for implementing the developed mechanism. Methods: Cash-analytical, economic-mathematical, theoretical synthesis method, observation, comparison, calculation and analytical method of theoretical generalization and systematization, economic-mathematical methods of macro and micro, synthesis, method of theoretical generalization, generalization, bibliometric, graphical method mathematical modeling, methods of approximation. It is offered: first: the mechanism of state regulation of competition in the RTP; improved: methodical approach to the prediction of RTP; classification methods of state regulation in the field of telecommunications; approach to tariff regulation on socially significant telecommunication services; were further developed: the meaning of "state regulation of telecommunications"; approach to the assessment of macro- and microeconomic effects of state regulation of competition in the RTP.
