The process of development of heuristic functions in the management system of machine-building enterprises is the research object. The theoretical and methodological and methodical-applied principles of heuristic functions development in the management system of machine building enterprises are the research subject. The improvement of existing and development of new theoretical and methodical-applied principles for development of heuristic functions in the management system of machine-building enterprises is the thesis objective. The specification, generalization, formalization, systematization, method of peer review, the index method, induction and deduction, decomposition simulation are the research methods. The process-balanced method of enterprise's heuristic functions development based on establishing relationships between profitable and negative cash flows in terms of salable creative and innovative projects has been firstly developed. The method of enterprise's heuristic development evaluation, information support model of heuristic functions development have been improved. The concept of "heuristic development", decomposition model of controlling and regulation of enterprises' heuristic functions development have been developed. The research results have been embedded in machine-building enterprises and academic process. The machine-building enterprises are the sphere of author's proposals application.
