Significant excess of lipidogram indexes, lipid peroxidation - antioxidant protection system, interleukin-6 levels were established during the examination of 129 patients with chronic pancreatitis, including 84 patients with chronic pancreatitis in combination with metabolic syndrome. Sufficient therapeutic effect was found in through the useage of omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids on the results of cytokine imbalance and metabolic disturbances in patients with chronic pancreatitis in combination with metabolic syndrome.
