The thesis is devoted to the analysis of control and supervision in the field of urban planning as an object of administrative law. Posted investigated in view of the current understanding of the administrative and legal relations in the sphere of urban development and established among them the control and supervision; considered legal regulation of relations in the sphere of urban development; found the content and specific activity of control and supervision in the field of urban development; by the characteristic elements of administrative and legal status of the State Architectural and Construction Inspection of Ukraine. Allocated and describes areas of control and supervision in the field of urban planning. Detail the forms and methods of control and supervision in the field of urban planning as a means of practical expression of certain specific actions necessary to ensure law and order in the area of urban development. Classification guarantees of legality control and supervision in the field of urban planning, in consequence of which the group identified and characterized guarantees depending on the purpose of their application. Pay attention to the activities of the prosecution as a subject control and supervision in the field of urban planning and characteristic of some types of administrative acts of the Prosecutor in the exercise control and supervision in this area.
