Objekt: texts of historical fantasy by H.Pahutiak and S.Clarke. Aim: determining the characteristics of epithetariums of S.Clarke and H.Pahutiak's te[ts and the consistency of epithet structures functioning in creating author's myth and fantastic universe. Methods: typological, mythopoetical, structural. Scientific novelty: complex comparative study of epithetarium characteristics and epithet structures functioning in English and Ukrainian historical fantasy texts has been conducted for the first time. Approved in 21 publications. The sphere of use: literature and high sckool practice.
