Yakunina K. Christian Confessions in the Volyn and Rivne Region in 1944 -1953.

In dissertation investigational position of Christian confessions in the Volyn and Rivne region in the context of social, political and national transformations during 1944 - 1953. It is found out, that the process of assertion and strengthening of influence of the Russian Orthodox Church in the Volyn and Rivne region took place at direct participation of organs of local-authority and power structures. It is set that limitation of activity of Roman Catholic Church in a region was carried out by migrant actions, limitation of activity Roman Catholic societies, and reduction of amount of clergy. Reasons and consequences of organizational association of Evangelical Christians-Baptists and Pentecostals are found out at local level. Functioning of the Seventh-Day Adventists, Jehovah's Witnesses and other religious groups (societies), is traced in the Volyn and Rivne region.
