Essay

The thesis is devoted to the problem of increasing the efficiency of scraper conveyor by reducing energy consumption and dynamic loads, acting on traction elements and drive, on the basis of optimizing mode motion and improvement the form of the scraper and material surface. The simulation of movement dynamics of the scraper conveyor and definition a valid dynamic loads, acting in the elements of the traction unit and drive, are conducted. Optimization of start-up mode of the scraper conveyor by criteria of mean square values of efforts and their derivatives on time in a working branch of the conveyor is performed. Experimentally proved the feasibility of using controlled start-up during the transportation for the reduction of dynamic loadings in the links of the scraper conveyor and increasing the reliability. The form of the scraper, which provides uniform load distribution across its surface and helps to avoid premature destruction of the chain and reduce energy costs, is received. The settings of the scraper conveyor, namely combination of the angle of the conveyor to the horizon, transportation speed, resistance movement, due to which achieved the lowest power consumption and highest productivity, are proved. Recommendations on improving the design of scraper conveyors are suggested. They are protected by 2 patents of Ukraine for inventions and utility models.
