Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the theoretical generalization and a new approach to solve topical problems, especially conceptual activities are developed to improve the early diagnosis and prognosis of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease in combination with type 2 diabetes mellitus on the basis of the definition of predictors of hormonal and metabolic disorders and their influence on the formation of steatosis and liver fibrosis and to individualize therapeutic measures. It is analyzed the functional condition of liver in patients with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease using biochemical parameters in comparence with a combination of direct and indirect serum markers of fibrosis based on carbohydrate metabolism and trophological parameters of patients to assess disease prognosis and stratification of therapy in patients with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease in combination with type 2 diabetes mellitus. It is pathogenetically justified the scheme of patients' therapy with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease in combination with type 2 diabetes mellitus with the drug dipeptydilpeptidase-4 inhibitor. It is proved the efficiency of the proposed treatment, accompanied by positive dynamics of carbohydrate metabolism and functional condition of liver.
