Essay

The object of study is the processes of radio waves propagation and scattering in a randomly inhomogeneous marine atmospheric boundary layer above rough surface. The goal is to study the influence and relationship of average and fluctuation parameters of refractive index on charachteristics of microwaves in the marine atmospheric boundary layer. Results - the simplified method for accounting of the refractive index turbulent fluctuations influence was proposed, a split-step parabolic equation method was generalized, comparative estimation of the accuracy for evaporation duct height estimations from bulk meteorological methods were obtained. The area is radiophysics.
