Bayda V. Protection of national agrofood interests in the sugar market

Dissertation is devoted to reasons for theory-methodological bases and development of practical recommendations about protection of economic interests of national producers in the sugar market. Theoretical provisions of market grouping of sugar are researched, process of its formation and market development in Ukraine is researched. Are generalized and systematized experiment of developed countries on protection of national economic interests. The current state and tendencies of development of a beet sugar industry is analyzed, the sugar market potential in Ukraine is estimated, is predicted demand and supply size on sugar in case of various scenarios of development of the country and situations in the world agro food market. Factors of increase of competitiveness of a domestic production of a beet sugar industry are determined. This author's interpretation of the concept "barriers to entry" their classification also is developed. The main directions of the state strategy of protection of national interests in the agro food market are proved, actions of enhancement of a foreign trade policy and the offer on forming by participants of the market of protective strategy are developed. It is offered bipolar structure of the organization of the market of sugar that will promote increase of efficiency and competitiveness of domestic producers.
