The dissertation is devoted to improve the effectiveness of the diagnosis and prevention rotavirus infection in children by incorporating of features of current infectious agent serotypes. Analyzed the nature of the epidemiology of rotavirus: Highest incidence of rotavirus infection is observed during the whole year, especially in the winter months (72,5 ± 1,14)%; Hospital incidence of rotavirus infection in children - (42,3 ± 1,26)%; Highest incidence observed at the age of the first two years of children life (63,4 ± 1,49)%. The dynamics of rotavirus genotypes circulating based on the Odessa region data. Comparative characteristic clinical manifestations of gastroenteritis caused by rotavirus, different genetic variants showed that the severity of the disease peculiar virus genotype G1P8 and G3P8. It was established that the presence of mixed infection clinic gastroenteritis burdened with increasing duration and intensity of dyspeptic manifestations and general intoxication syndromes. Criteria predicting severity of clinical course of WG based on consideration of clinical course and serotypes of the pathogen.
