Essay

The thesis is devoted to the problem of improving the diagnosis of recurrent pulmonary and chronic lung diseases in the early stages based on the definition the characterization of changes in the cytokine profile of induced sputum such as levels of IL-4, IL-6, IL-8, IL-10. Peculiarities of systemic immunity, interleukin profile of induced sputum (IL-4, IL-6, IL-8, IL-10) are described in the patients with bronchitis, pneumonia, chronic lung disease depending on the nosological group, severity of the disease and age of child. Elevated levels of IL-4, IL-6, IL-8, IL-10 in induced sputum are proved of the pathogenic significance in the mechanisms of transformation of the acute airway inflammation in chronic disease. The presence of the disorder in the functioning of interleukins are promoting the activation of cytotoxic immune mechanisms, increasing the destructive and fibrotic processes of lung and airways. It is shown in the mathematical models and algorithm of the prognosis of the recurrence of respiratory diseases in children, which has high self-descriptiveness and reliability, when it was developed.
